Job Type Contract

An experienced Imaging professional is needed to provide CT and CT/PET technical support within a fast-paced emergency room setting. This is a 13-week contract role, with an immediate start date available.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (11:30 PM - 10:00 AM)
  • Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (11:30 PM - 10:00 AM)
  • No call required

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (RT)(R)(CT) certification required
  • Current Rhode Island license (allow 3-4 weeks for processing if needed)
  • BLS certification required
  • COVID, Booster, and Flu vaccines required (Medical declination accepted for booster only; religious declinations not accepted)
  • Experience operating Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice CT scanners
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR a plus
  • Knowledge of Medrad injectors; GE PACS experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and CT/PET exams, primarily for emergency room patients
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment
  • Produce diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information using relevant systems
  • Collaborate effectively with ER staff and providers to ensure responsive patient care
