An established hospital in Watsonville, CA, is seeking an experienced Manager for Diagnostic Imaging specializing in CT for a travel assignment. This leadership role requires a candidate with solid management or charge experience, proficient in overseeing imaging operations and staff. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology, including Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed 16 scanners, within a dynamic hospital setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of management or charge experience in diagnostic imaging
- Active BLS certification
- ARRT certifications in CT and Radiography (ARRT-CT, ARRT-R)
- Valid California state radiologic technologist license
- Proficiency with Cerner and McKesson PACS systems
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with patient ratios varying from 10 to 20 scans per shift, especially during busy evening shifts
- Familiarity with virtual colonography, gated procedures, and general CT imaging
- Comfortable working holidays and rotating weekend schedules

- Maintain compliance with credentialing and safety regulations while ensuring high-quality patient care
- Orient and float staff as needed within radiology floor-specific protocols
