CT Technologist | Wauneta, Nebraska

Bring your expertise in CT and PET imaging to an engaging opportunity with a dynamic medical team. In this contract role, you’ll utilize advanced diagnostic technology to deliver high-quality care, working collaboratively alongside other skilled technologists and healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

• Days, 5x8 hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment
• Shared call rotation with two other technologists

Key Qualifications:

• Certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience in CT and PET imaging
• Siemens equipment experience highly preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Adaptability and a collaborative work style

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and PET scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures per physician directives
• Ensure quality control, accurate image acquisition, and thorough documentation
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies and regulatory standards
• Provide on-call coverage as part of a rotating schedule with fellow technologists
