Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiography; advanced certification in CT required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT and/or CT/PET Technologist
  • Proficiency with a variety of CT and PET imaging equipment and software
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, and sterile techniques
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
  • Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination
  • Identify artifacts or technical issues and adjust imaging processes as necessary
  • Review images for clarity and completeness before submitting for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain detailed documentation and imaging records within the EMR system
  • Clean and prepare equipment for each patient, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Communicate findings, concerns, and patient updates to colleagues and physicians
