Duties:

• Confirm patient identity and ensure exam verification, adhering to department protocols for patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort
• Insert IVs when required and assist with patient positioning using safe handling techniques
• Accurately document within EPIC, ensuring proper identification and transfer of images to the PACS system
• Keep the scanning facility clean and uphold safety standards

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with ARRT Certification
• Active NYS license (injection therapy certification required or willingness to obtain)
• Two years of CT Technologist experience
• Previous work in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, compassion, and collaborative spirit
• Preferred: Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment; injection certification (willingness to complete during orientation)
