CT Tech CT Technologist - Weirton, West Virginia

This contract position involves providing high-quality CT imaging services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The department features two state-of-the-art CT rooms equipped with GE VCT and Siemens Somatom Definition 64 slice scanners, supporting a busy workflow of approximately 65 studies per day. Staffed with three technologists daily and additional nursing support for IVs and premedication, the department emphasizes teamwork and professional development, including training in performing biopsies if needed.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• No on-call requirement
• Weekend and holiday rotation as needed

Qualifications:

• BLS certification required
• West Virginia Xray License required; candidates may apply after offer
• WV CARES background check required before start
• Prefer ARRT (CT) certification or a minimum of 3-5 years' CT experience
• Must be able to start IVs, multitask, and operate effectively in a busy setting
• IV experience necessary
• First-time travelers are welcome
• All submissions must include an unexpired driver's license
• Any licensing issues must be disclosed upon submission

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and assist with biopsies and sterile tray setup
• Support patient care with a focus on safety, efficiency, and service excellence
• Operate within Community Works EMR and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS systems
• Participate in department orientation (five shifts with a preceptor)

• Scrubs in any color are acceptable if clean and professional; option to match permanent staff in Emerald Green
