Required Skills and Experience:

  • Certification and current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Demonstrated competency in operating and troubleshooting CT, X-ray, and PET imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of appropriate imaging protocols, safety standards, and patient care techniques
  • Prior experience working as a CT Technologist and PET/CT Tech in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering clear, precise images
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT, X-ray, and PET equipment according to physician orders
  • Accurately position patients, ensure comfort and safety, and explain procedures to alleviate concerns
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging machinery for optimal performance
  • Follow established protocols to safeguard patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Document imaging findings and maintain accurate patient records per regulatory and facility standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support multidisciplinary care
  • Adhere to facility policies and maintain strict patient confidentiality
