Elevate your imaging expertise as a CT/PET Technologist working on a contract assignment with a dynamic radiology department. This role provides hands-on experience in a 492-bed hospital, including a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. You'll play an integral part in both inpatient and outpatient care—primarily adults with some pediatric cases—ranging from trauma and biopsies to angiograms and stroke perfusion.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 hour shifts, Friday through Sunday

Required Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT-CT credential (for CT Techs)
  • State license (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of robust CT/PET experience, or 2+ years for first-time travelers
  • Proficiency in trauma, angiogram, biopsy drainage, and strongly preferred: stroke perfusion scanning
  • Comfort working with Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT/PET imaging for a variety of patient types and acuity
  • Work both independently (1:1 patient ratio, average 4 patients/hour) and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Float within the main radiology department as needed
  • Provide coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
  • Participate in voluntary call shifts and periodic weekend rotations
  • Uphold hospital and safety protocols at all times
