Enhance your career as a CT/PET Technologist at a dynamic healthcare facility requiring imaging professionals with demonstrated expertise in computed tomography. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a large, advanced hospital environment with state-of-the-art technology and a strong care team.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and PET scans for both inpatient and outpatient populations, including adults and occasional pediatric cases
  • Execute complex imaging procedures such as trauma, angiograms, biopsy drainage, and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
  • Operate all GE CT equipment and utilize Cerner electronic medical records for documentation
  • Maintain a patient ratio averaging four per hour with a focus on safety and comfort
  • Collaborate and float within the main Radiology department as needed
  • Complete a comprehensive orientation and participate in ongoing learning opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT certification; ARRT(CT) credential required for CT technologists
  • Current BLS certification
  • State license preferred
  • At least one year of strong, hands-on experience in CT/PET technology (first-time travelers considered with minimum two years’ relevant experience)
  • Experience in trauma and stroke perfusion highly valued

Additional Details:

  • 492-bed medical center with Level II Trauma and Level III NICU
  • Patient mix includes a range of acuity: ED, inpatient, and outpatient studies
  • Voluntary on-call available for additional hours
  • Participation in holiday and weekend rotations as per department needs
