Step into a vital role in diagnostic imaging, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations—including adult and occasional pediatric cases—in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity begins June 22 and requires skilled CT technologists to deliver quality imaging care in a busy Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour mids: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT certification required; ARRT-CT specialty certification required for CT technologists
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • State CT license preferred
  • Candidates with at least 1 year of strong, relevant CT experience considered; first-time travelers welcome with 2 years’ CT experience
  • Experience in trauma, angiograms, biopsy drainage, and especially stroke perfusion strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment
  • Ability to float within the main Radiology department as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging for a diverse patient base, averaging 4 patients/hour (approx. 40/day)
  • Collaborate with a team of 2 CT technologists and an assistant per shift
  • Assist in emergent procedures such as trauma imaging, biopsies, and angiograms
  • Participate in stroke protocols and perfusion studies
  • Flexibly float to different areas within Radiology as assigned
  • Adhere to department protocols and maintain patient safety at all times
