Exciting opportunity for an experienced professional skilled in CT imaging to be a key member of a dynamic healthcare imaging department. This contract position involves working with cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours.
Schedule:
- 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Radiologic License required
- ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications necessary
- Proficiency in venipuncture
- Demonstrated experience operating GE CT units
- Prior involvement with CT procedures in both Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient (IP) settings, including CTA and perfusion studies
- Strong commitment to maintaining quality assurance standards and safety protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct a full range of CT scans with accuracy and attention to patient comfort
- Collaborate closely with emergency and inpatient teams to prioritize imaging requests appropriately
- Assess and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and addressing any clinical concerns
- Operate GE CT equipment and related systems efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Assist with CTA and perfusion studies as requested by clinical staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold department compliance standards
