Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shift: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, age-appropriate care and perform all CT imaging exams in compliance with departmental protocols.
  • Accurately follow clinician’s orders, verify patient identities using two unique identifiers, and ensure privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
  • Assess patient conditions, monitor for contraindications, and apply critical thinking in emergent or ambiguous situations.
  • Prepare, position, and communicate clearly with patients and families, using AIDET principles for quality interactions.
  • Operate, clean, and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment, maintaining strict infection control and Joint Commission standards.
  • Perform venipuncture, administer contrast media safely, and document all procedures concisely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with and support colleagues, participate in departmental training, and maintain the highest standard of clinical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications.
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; CT experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven communication skills with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
