Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, age-appropriate care and perform all CT imaging exams in compliance with departmental protocols.
- Accurately follow clinician’s orders, verify patient identities using two unique identifiers, and ensure privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor for contraindications, and apply critical thinking in emergent or ambiguous situations.
- Prepare, position, and communicate clearly with patients and families, using AIDET principles for quality interactions.
- Operate, clean, and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment, maintaining strict infection control and Joint Commission standards.
- Perform venipuncture, administer contrast media safely, and document all procedures concisely and accurately.
- Collaborate with and support colleagues, participate in departmental training, and maintain the highest standard of clinical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certifications.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; CT experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven communication skills with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
