Schedule

  • Night shift
  • Wednesday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Essential Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Radiography and ARRT Computed Tomography certification
  • BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology (less than 1 year in CT considered)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform CT and PET/CT exams, ensuring safety and comfort for patients of all ages
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other technologists
  • Gather and review clinical histories, assess contraindications, and provide clear explanations to patients and families
  • Apply sterile technique and maintain competency with venipuncture and contrast media administration
  • Follow strict procedures for accurate image acquisition and proper patient identification
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment concerns promptly; ensure infection control standards are met
  • Adhere to department workflow including patient transport, supply restocking, image upload to PACS, and accurate documentation
  • Participate in department education, quality control, and assist in training new staff
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations and support maintenance of life support equipment
