Schedule:
- Night shift
- Wednesday to Friday, 7:00am–7:30pm
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- At least 1 year of experience in Radiology (CT experience preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with physicians, patients, and team members
- Ability to function both independently and within a team under pressure
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times
- Competence in CT imaging, anatomy, pathology, and performing ACR/manufacturer quality control
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe, age-appropriate patient care and ensure all exams are performed per department procedure
- Verify clinician orders, obtain histories, and assess contraindications for each study
- Ensure correct patient identification and utilize imaging markers appropriately
- Prepare and position patients for all procedures, maintain patient comfort and dignity
- Administer and document contrast media safely
- Review images for clinical acceptance and complete RIS/PACS documentation
- Monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report issues promptly
- Practice sterile technique and maintain infection control standards
- Provide patient instruction, prep, and clear explanations of procedures
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and support life-safety protocols
- Assist in training new staff and collaborate willingly across modalities
