CT Technologist - Woonsocket, RI

Step into a vital imaging role supporting emergency care as a CT/PET Technologist. This contract position offers immediate placement and the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 3 x 12-hour nights (3:00 pm – 3:30 am) on a rotating two-week schedule:
  • Week 1: Sunday, Thursday, Friday
  • Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday
• 40 hours expected per week
• On-call: None
• Weekend call required on rotation

Key Qualifications

• Active RI state license required
• Registered Technologist (RT(R)(CT))
• BLS certification mandatory
• Previous experience with Siemens Definition AS+ and GE VCT 64 Slice equipment
• Knowledge of Medrad injectors and GE PACS preferred
• Experience with EPIC a plus
• COVID and Flu vaccinations required; Booster accepted only for medical declination (no religious declinations)

Core Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and PET imaging for emergency room patients, prioritizing accuracy and patient safety
• Operate and maintain Siemens and GE imaging equipment effectively
• Document and manage clinical information using EPIC and PACS systems
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare staff under urgent conditions
• Adhere strictly to infection control, hospital protocol, and dress code (scrubs, no hooded sweatshirts)
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensure requirements
