Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; schedule details provided during interview process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Proficiency in performing CT examinations and administering IV contrast media
  • Experience using PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS)
  • Ability to collaborate with radiologists and assist in complex procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to explain procedures and ensure patient comfort
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and radiation protection practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review patient clinical data for appropriate diagnostic CT scanning
  • Explain examination processes and make patients comfortable throughout
  • Analyze anatomical areas, adjust CT equipment, and successfully capture diagnostic images
  • Administer intravenous contrast and monitor patients for any reactions, providing immediate care if necessary
  • Setup, maintain, and restock procedure rooms, including sterile field preparation for specialized procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists during complex diagnostic interventions such as biopsies
  • Ensure high-quality image delivery, resolve PACS image exceptions, and verify accurate series counts
  • Document procedures thoroughly in both electronic medical records and radiology information systems
  • Model exemplary teamwork, open communication, and adherence to all professional standards
