Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Prior experience operating CT imaging equipment in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and radiology procedures
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and safety procedures
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Administer IV contrast materials as needed, monitoring for adverse reactions
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate image transmission to radiologists for interpretation
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting issues promptly
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards
