This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and allows you to apply your expertise using GE and Phillips equipment while working as a valued team member.
Schedule:
- 5x8-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend coverage
- Hours: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT (CT) certification and current BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
- Proven ability working in high-acuity environments, including ER, inpatient, and outpatient units
- Strong proficiency operating GE and Phillips CT scanners
- Hands-on experience with advanced imaging workstations
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt in fast-paced situations
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
- Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accurate information and safe patient handoffs
- Adhere to all hospital safety policies and infection control procedures
- Adjust and monitor imaging equipment; troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and storage of images
- Provide compassionate care with clear explanations before, during, and after each scan
