A skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist is needed for a contract position with a focus on delivering outstanding diagnostic imaging services. This role offers hours across three 12-hour day shifts, from Friday through Monday, encompassing the weekend schedule. Travel experience is preferred for candidates who can demonstrate adaptability and expertise in their field. A current Washington state license is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT scans, X-rays, Fluoroscopy, and C-arm
  • Applying principles of radiation safety and patient protection throughout all procedures
  • Exercising sound, ethical, and professional judgment during exams
  • Delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring comfort prior to, during, and after imaging
  • Responding rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiating life support measures as necessary
  • Accurately reading and interpreting radiology reports and requisitions

Qualifications and preferred experience:

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography program or equivalent educational background
  • 2+ years of experience in an additional imaging modality, ideally in a hospital setting
  • Proficiency in radiography and CT procedures, with demonstrated competency
  • Ability to thoroughly observe and assess patients throughout encounter
  • Active Washington State License (mandatory)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (required)
  • Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification, or ability to obtain during orientation
  • Prior travel experience in healthcare settings is beneficial
