Responsibilities include:
- Performing CT scans and X-ray procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Maintaining and operating imaging equipment with a focus on safety and optimal performance
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures by explaining steps, positioning accurately, and ensuring comfort
- Evaluating images for clarity and diagnostic quality before submitting them to radiologists
- Following all standard infection control guidelines and maintaining strict patient confidentiality
- Assisting with transporting patients, coordinating schedules, and documenting procedures in medical records
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid ARRT certification (CT and Radiography)
- Current state licensure as required for imaging professionals
- Demonstrated proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
