CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist - Charlotte, NC

Step into a dynamic clinical role specializing in Imaging, focusing on CT and X-Ray procedures. This contract opportunity offers a structured night schedule perfect for those who excel in high-acuity environments and prefer overnight shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• 36 hours per week

Role Highlights:

• Contract position within a leading healthcare facility
• On-call and call-back responsibilities required for 3–4 shifts per month
• No weekend rotations outside assigned schedule
• Expectation to work 75% of holidays
• No floating outside of designated units

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Current and valid certification as a CT Technologist
• Demonstrated expertise in Imaging practices, specifically CT and X-Ray
• Proficient in operation of imaging equipment and adherence to radiation safety standards
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Excellent ability to communicate with medical teams and provide compassionate patient care
• Experience working night shifts strongly preferred
• Prior contract or travel assignment experience is beneficial

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray scans for inpatients and emergency room cases
• Ensure proper patient positioning and use of protective measures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records
• Respond promptly to call-back assignments; uphold excellence under pressure
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Maintain equipment and support a sterile, safe work environment
• Uphold policies related to patient privacy and compliance guidelines
