CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Concord, NC

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist with expertise in Imaging - CT/X-Ray. This position is responsible for performing CT and X-ray procedures, ensuring quality diagnostic imaging, and providing excellent patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Workdays: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (36 hours per week)
• This is a dedicated weekend position, requiring work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Qualifications/Experience

• Valid certification or license as a CT Technologist (as required by state/regulatory agency)
• Proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging modalities
• Prior clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, quality assurance, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient service skills
• Adaptable to floating between units, if needed
• Ability to work a high percentage (75%) of scheduled holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced CT/X-ray exams while maintaining patient comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
• Prepare patients for procedures, taking appropriate precautions and explaining the process clearly
• Ensure proper documentation and management of imaging records
• Respond to on-call or call-back requests based on departmental needs, as discussed during the interview process
• Float to additional units if required

$2,317 - $2,534/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
