CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist - Decatur, Georgia

Seeking a skilled imaging professional capable of performing both CT and X-ray responsibilities within a pediatric care environment. This contract role focuses on high standards for patient safety, technical expertise, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule:

• Every Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
• One weekend overnight shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (either Saturday or Sunday) every other week
• Total of 32 hours per pay period

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in CT imaging
• Proven proficiency as a Radiologic Technologist with active ARRT certification
• BLS certification required
• Pediatric imaging experience highly preferred
• Must be comfortable and experienced with both CT and X-ray workflows
• Previous use of Epic EMR is required
• Must pass a nicotine screening and routine drug test (nicotine-free facility)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct both CT and X-ray examinations accurately, ensuring adherence to established protocols
• Safely position and prepare pediatric patients for imaging, minimizing discomfort and maximizing image quality
• Maintain accurate, timely records within the Epic EMR system
• Collaborate with pediatric healthcare teams for integrated patient care
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Support facility initiatives for quality assurance and exceptional patient care
