CT/X-Ray Technologist in Eureka, CA

Seeking an experienced professional in Imaging—CT/X-Ray and CT/PET modalities for a contract opportunity supporting a dynamic radiology department. The role involves working Monday through Friday on 8-hour day shifts, with some shared on-call responsibilities. This position provides an opportunity to utilize advanced imaging skills in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• Daytime hours
• Some shared call coverage required

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CT/X-Ray procedures, with experience as a CT/PET Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• Proof of negative TB test within the past 12 months
• Fluoroscopy certificate highly desirable
• Strong technical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray exams according to established protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with adherence to safety standards
• Accurately document and report findings to the appropriate clinical staff
• Participate in shared call rotation as scheduled
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care
