CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Eveleth, MN

Seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in both CT and X-Ray imaging to support an advanced medical team. This contract-based opportunity features a primary schedule of four 10-hour shifts each week, with flexibility for the occasional five 8-hour shifts to accommodate department needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT advanced certification in CT preferred but not mandatory
• Extensive hands-on experience in both CT and X-Ray imaging
• Flexibility and willingness to work different shift patterns, including occasional 5x8s
• Demonstrated technical expertise in operating CT scanners and X-Ray machines
• Comprehensive understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and proper patient positioning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure positive patient interactions
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative clinical environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality CT and X-Ray examinations as ordered by physicians
• Ensure all imaging protocols are followed in accordance with facility standards and best practices
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate records of each exam, updating patient files as needed
• Collaborate effectively with fellow technologists, radiologists, and other healthcare team members
• Keep imaging equipment clean and in optimal working condition, and promptly report any issues
• Adhere to departmental guidelines, including radiation safety and infection control procedures

$25,774 - $27,173/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
