CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Fort Ashby, WV

A skilled Imaging Professional is sought for a contract opportunity supporting both CT and X-Ray services. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient imaging in a diverse hospital setting, utilizing expertise in general CTs, CT Angiograms (CTAs), general X-rays, portable imaging units, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy. Flexibility, a detail-oriented approach, and strong patient care skills will be key to success in this collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm
• Days, evenings, and weekends are part of required coverage
• Weekend shifts are included on a rotational basis
• No holiday or on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Valid West Virginia licensure
• Ability to provide a current, unexpired driver’s license at submission (50-mile radius rule applies)
• Experience performing general CTs, CTA’s, general X-rays, portables, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy
• Must be comfortable starting own IVs
• Experience with Synapse Radiology EMR/equipment preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT scans and X-rays in accordance with physicians’ orders and established protocols
• Adapt techniques to accommodate special needs of patients and unique requirements of portable imaging or intraoperative C-Arm support
• Observe all safety standards, including proper use of a radiation badge (must be provided by traveler)
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and maintain high standards of clinical practice
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
