CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Gastonia, NC

This contract opportunity involves working weekend nights on a 12-hour schedule, ensuring high-quality imaging services and patient care during critical hospital hours.

Schedule Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Friday through Sunday (7:00pm - 7:30am)
• Weekend position—every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Expectation to work 75% of holidays
• On-call and call-back duties based on departmental needs, discussed during manager phone interview
• Potential for occasional floating to other imaging areas, as organizational needs arise

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid and current credentials as a CT Technologist, with competency in both CT and X-ray imaging
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current state radiologic technologist licensure (as applicable)
• Recent and relevant experience performing CT/X-Ray imaging in a hospital or acute care environment
• Strong ability to adapt to varied caseloads and adjust to the needs of a dynamic department
• Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and X-Ray imaging according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification, thorough documentation, and safeguard patient privacy
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals
• Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety standards
• Respond effectively to on-call and call-back duties as required
