Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required, with CT credential strongly preferred
- Valid state licensure for Radiology Technologists
- Previous experience operating both CT and X-Ray equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong understanding of radiology safety standards and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and colleagues
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures, ensuring clarity, diagnostic quality, and patient safety
- Properly position patients and use immobilization devices as needed for optimal images
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures electronically
- Apply specialized knowledge to adjust imaging protocols based on physician directives
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment for optimal performance and compliance
- Deliver clear instructions and information to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other care team members
