CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist | Indian Trail, North Carolina

Seeking an experienced and knowledgeable professional to perform CT and X-Ray imaging on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in medical imaging and CT technology, and who is comfortable working independently during overnight shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00pm – 7:30am

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in both CT and traditional X-Ray imaging
• Valid professional credentials and certifications for CT Tech as required
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
• Strong understanding of patient safety and infection control protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality imaging
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and established guidelines
• Ensure detailed documentation and accurate patient record keeping
• Collaborate with other medical staff to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to call-back requirements (3-4 shifts per month)
• Adapt to working 75% of required holidays based on department needs
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to guarantee consistent functionality
• Provide a calming and professional presence for patients undergoing imaging procedures
