Deliver comprehensive imaging services in a dynamic hospital setting, utilizing your expertise in both CT and X-ray procedures. This contract role is ideal for a skilled technologist seeking a varied schedule and exposure to a wide range of diagnostic imaging tasks.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm
  • Weekend rotation required
  • No holiday, on-call, or call-back responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Valid West Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
  • BLS certification mandatory
  • Ability to perform both CT and X-ray imaging, including general CTs, CTAs, general radiography, portables, C-Arm, and fluoroscopy
  • Experience with Synapse Radiology EMR/equipment is preferred
  • Must be able to independently start IVs
  • A copy of a valid, unexpired driver’s license must be included upon submission
  • All licensing hits must be disclosed upon application
  • Radiation badge must be provided by the agency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of imaging procedures (CT and X-ray) per physician orders
  • Operate equipment such as C-Arm for intraoperative and fluoroscopic studies
  • Perform portables, especially in urgent and critical care situations
  • Ensure accurate documentation in Synapse Radiology EMR system
  • Participate in a weekend coverage rotation
  • Complete floor-specific orientation as assigned
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and infection control at all times
