CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Lakeport, CA

Seeking a skilled technologist with expertise in both CT and X-Ray imaging for a contract opportunity lasting 13 weeks. This dynamic position focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services utilizing Siemens CT scanners. Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday)
• Hours: 10:00 am – 10:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
• California Fluoroscopy license
• Previous experience with Siemens CT scanners is mandatory
• Proficiency in performing both general X-ray and CT procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens CT scanners and general X-ray equipment safely and effectively
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Ensure proper positioning for high-quality diagnostic images
• Accurately document patient information and imaging findings within medical records
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
• Support workflow in the imaging department and adapt to varying patient volumes
