CT/X-Ray Technologist | Lenexa, Kansas

Bring your expertise in CT and X-Ray imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to exceptional patient care. In this contract opportunity, you'll play a critical role in supporting diagnostic services, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety over a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• 2x12-hour shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 am–6:30 pm
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Valid Kansas Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficient in both CT and standard X-ray imaging procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Experience in a fast-paced setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging examinations as ordered by providers
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety
• Adhere to established protocols, radiation safety standards, and infection control practices
• Accurately document exam details and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and the broader healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostics
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary
• Provide compassionate care and address patient questions or concerns during procedures
