Desired Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography
- CT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- State licensure or eligibility as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical Imaging setting, with proficiency in both X-Ray and CT modalities
- Solid understanding of radiographic/CT equipment, safety standards, and best practices
- Ability to position patients correctly and adapt procedures for varied cases and patient needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray examinations following physician orders and standard protocols
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and preparation before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Verify patient identification and details; accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and staff
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and uphold all regulatory standards
