CT/X-Ray Technologist in Lithonia, GA

Deliver exceptional patient care and technical expertise as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT and X-Ray imaging. This contract role plays a vital part in providing high-quality diagnostic images, supporting clinicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography
• CT certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• State licensure or eligibility as a Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical Imaging setting, with proficiency in both X-Ray and CT modalities
• Solid understanding of radiographic/CT equipment, safety standards, and best practices
• Ability to position patients correctly and adapt procedures for varied cases and patient needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray examinations following physician orders and standard protocols
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and preparation before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Verify patient identification and details; accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and staff
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and uphold all regulatory standards
