Experienced in advanced imaging technology and patient care? Skilled with CT, X-ray, and PET modalities? This contract opportunity offers an engaging clinical environment utilizing your expertise as an Imaging Tech across multiple modalities.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an X-ray Technologist and Radiologic Technologist, with skills in computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET)
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current and valid ARRT certification (R) required; CT (ARRT CT) preferred
- Active state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist
- Versatility in both CT and general radiography, able to operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Excellent patient communication and care skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and digital imaging proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT, X-ray, and PET images according to physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, utilizing proper positioning and shielding techniques
- Accurately document patient records and maintain imaging logs
- Assist radiologists with diagnostic procedures and contrast administration as needed
- Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and follow infection control standards
- Participate in quality assurance tasks and contribute to departmental initiatives
