Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an X-ray Technologist and Radiologic Technologist, with skills in computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET)
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current and valid ARRT certification (R) required; CT (ARRT CT) preferred
• Active state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist
• Versatility in both CT and general radiography, able to operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and digital imaging proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT, X-ray, and PET images according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, utilizing proper positioning and shielding techniques
• Accurately document patient records and maintain imaging logs
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic procedures and contrast administration as needed
• Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and follow infection control standards
• Participate in quality assurance tasks and contribute to departmental initiatives
