Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
- State licensure as required for the position.
- Previous experience performing both CT and X-ray exams in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of imaging safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, screening, and preparation for diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely, reporting potential malfunctions for timely resolution.
- Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the imaging department’s systems.
- Assist with routine QA/QC tasks and participate in department meetings and training sessions as needed.
