Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent)
• California state license for Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in both CT and X-ray imaging
• Proficient with modern imaging systems and PACS
• Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and radiation protection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR or BLS certification (current)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray scans according to physician orders and departmental procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results
• Position patients effectively, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and document all performed examinations
• Regularly inspect, operate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any concerns promptly
• Comply with all infection control and quality assurance standards
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before, during, and after procedures
