Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
  • Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
  • State licensure as required for the position.
  • Previous experience performing both CT and X-ray exams in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of imaging safety standards and protocols.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, screening, and preparation for diagnostic procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely, reporting potential malfunctions for timely resolution.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the imaging department’s systems.
  • Assist with routine QA/QC tasks and participate in department meetings and training sessions as needed.
