CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist - Los Osos, California

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional experienced in CT and X-ray procedures. This contract position spans 13 weeks and requires expertise working with both Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanners and X-ray equipment. A well-qualified candidate will uphold the highest standards of patient care and technical proficiency, working in a collaborative medical environment.

Schedule:

• Shifts: 4x10s, Evenings, Friday through Monday
• Hours: 12:00 pm – 11:30 pm
• On-call required: 11:30 pm – 4:00 am

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy and IV certification required
• Comprehensive experience in both CT and X-ray imaging modalities
• Comfort working independently on evening shifts and managing urgent/emergent situations
• Experience with Siemens 64 Somatom scanners highly desired

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray procedures on patients of all ages with appropriate technique and safety standards
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and timely patient exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety protocols, including documentation and quality control standards
• Participate in required on-call shifts, responding promptly and professionally to emergent imaging needs
