CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist | Matthews, North Carolina

Excellent opportunity for skilled CT/X-Ray professionals to deliver high-quality patient imaging services in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract position focuses on providing comprehensive CT and X-ray diagnostic support while working collaboratively within a dedicated radiology team.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a CT Technologist, X-Ray Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration or equivalent
• Proven experience in clinical CT scanning and conventional X-ray
• In-depth understanding of safety protocols in radiology imaging
• Familiarity with patient care processes within acute care settings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to holiday staffing requirements as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized CT and digital X-ray examinations according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Accurately document imaging procedures, maintain equipment, and comply with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care
• Participate in holiday coverage and follow established hospital policies for call and rotation requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
