CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist - Matthews, NC

A rewarding opportunity is available for a CT/X-Ray technologist skilled in advanced imaging modalities. This contract role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact while working a structured weekend schedule.

Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour night shifts (Friday through Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:30am)
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend position: every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Key Qualifications

• Current ARRT (CT) or equivalent certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging procedures
• Prior clinical experience as a CT technologist in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Active BLS certification through the AHA (or the ability to obtain before start)
• Ability to work 75% of holidays as part of scheduling requirements
• Willingness to float to other units as operational needs arise

Role Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray scans as ordered by providers, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure
• Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment following departmental protocols
• Review imaging orders and collaborate with healthcare team members to provide timely diagnostic information
• Monitor patient status during exams, report changes, and implement appropriate measures as needed
• Adhere to safety procedures and infection control guidelines at all times
• Potential to take call and respond to call back requests as discussed during the manager phone interview

$2,317 - $2,534/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
