CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist | Matthews, North Carolina

Step into a dynamic imaging role as a CT/X-Ray specialist supporting patient care in a high-volume environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to exclusively use advanced GE and Siemens scanners—particularly Siemens Force—in a 500+ bed hospital setting. Applicants must have at least two years of recent trauma and hospital experience to be considered.

Schedule and work hours:

• Night shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Possibility of mid-shift weekends: 3x12-hour (15:00 – 03:00), to be discussed during the interview
• No weekend requested time off (RTO) allowed

Required qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ recent, relevant experience in CT/X-Ray—no exceptions
• Demonstrated background working in trauma centers and large hospitals (over 500 beds)
• Proficiency and recent hands-on experience with GE and Siemens scanners, specifically Siemens Force—candidates without this cannot be considered
• Strong CT procedural knowledge, including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CT Angiograms (CTAs), and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Active ARRT(R)(CT) and BLS certifications

Key responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT/X-Ray exams for diverse patient populations
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinical staff in a fast-paced trauma environment
• Operate and troubleshoot GE and Siemens Force scanners to ensure optimal imaging results
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and patient records
• Uphold the highest standards of radiation safety and patient care
