CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist | Matthews, North Carolina

Step into a vital role performing diagnostic imaging as a CT/X-Ray Technologist. This contract position plays an essential part in supporting patients and clinical teams with expert imaging services. Utilize your technical proficiency and attention to detail to help deliver top-tier patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (36 hours total)
• Friday (Ballantyne), Saturday/Sunday (Providence), 7:00am-7:00pm
• No on call or call back requirements
• Weekend rotation requirements discussed during final interview and based on facility needs
• Expect to work approximately 75% of holidays during the assignment
• No floating between departments required

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CT Technologist, in addition to X-Ray (ARRT registered and state licensure as applicable)
• Experience operating both CT and X-Ray imaging modalities
• Solid understanding of safety protocols, anatomy, and proper shielding techniques
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Keen attention to patient care and comfort

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and X-Ray equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images per physician orders
• Review, assess, and verify imaging orders prior to procedures
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage imaging records in accordance with hospital standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other clinicians to ensure timely delivery of patient results
• Uphold all infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
