Advance your career as a skilled CT/PET Technologist specializing in Imaging - CT/X-Ray in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers the ability to work alongside a knowledgeable team, utilizing advanced equipment to provide crucial diagnostic imaging services.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8-hour day shifts (5x8s)
  • Some shared on-call responsibilities

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in CT, X-Ray, and CT/PET imaging modalities
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Fluoroscopy certificate highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images following safety protocols
  • Proof of negative TB test within 12 months prior to contract start
  • Adaptability for on-call duties and flexibility for collaborative, patient-centered care
  • Previous experience in a busy imaging department preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT, PET, and X-ray examinations as ordered, maintaining the highest standards in patient safety and image quality
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, troubleshooting as required
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation within hospital systems
  • Coordinate care and workflow efficiently with radiologists, physicians, and department staff
  • Strictly adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
