Step into a crucial role supporting patient care as a CT/X-Ray Imaging Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to utilize your advanced imaging skills while working with a collaborative clinical team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 pm to 9:00 am
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification in CT and X-Ray modalities (ARRT CT and RT preferred)
- State licensure as required
- Previous experience as a CT Technologist, with strong background in imaging diagnostics
- Proficiency in operating contemporary CT/X-Ray equipment and related technology
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, acute care environment
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards for image quality, privacy, and safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for CT and X-Ray imaging, ensuring comfort and accuracy
- Operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images as requested by physicians
- Evaluate images for clarity, detail, and diagnostic utility, making adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to coordinate workflow
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with facility standards
- Monitor equipment performance, arranging maintenance or troubleshooting minor issues as needed
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols regarding radiation exposure, infection prevention, and patient confidentiality
