Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • State of Georgia licensure in radiologic technology
  • Demonstrated experience operating both CT and X-ray equipment
  • Proficiency with digital imaging systems and PACS
  • Solid understanding of diagnostic safety protocols and radiation protection standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and healthcare teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments

Schedule and Hours:

  • Flexible shifts available, including possible nights, weekends, or evenings depending on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including both CT and X-ray examinations, ensuring optimal image quality
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures while providing clear explanations and comfort throughout
  • Maintain safety standards for patient, self, and coworkers by following best practices for radiation exposure
  • Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results in electronic medical records
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinical staff for effective diagnosis and patient care
  • Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment for safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness
