CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Tinley Park, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) required
• Experience operating both CT and X-ray imaging equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Healthcare provider BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately position patients and operate imaging technology to obtain the best diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
• Monitor imaging equipment, report maintenance needs, and comply with quality assurance practices
• Document exams and patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to answer questions, address concerns, and facilitate timely results

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
