CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Van Nuys, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• ARRT certification (Computed Tomography and Radiography)
• Valid state license in Radiologic Technology
• Previous experience operating CT and X-ray equipment in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of advanced imaging protocols and safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail and image quality
• Outstanding communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure proper patient positioning, effective imaging technique, and high-quality image capture
• Explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and maintain a calming presence
• Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation safety, and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and report findings to the medical team
• Regularly inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver seamless patient care
