Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
• Valid state licensure as required in California
• Demonstrated proficiency in CT and X-Ray imaging techniques
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting strongly desired
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray scans as ordered by providers
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
• Prepare and operate CT and X-Ray equipment, adhering to protocols and safety standards
• Accurately input patient information and imaging details into electronic medical records
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Monitor and maintain radiology equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Comply with infection control and radiation safety guidelines
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients and families
