Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Minimum of one year of hands-on CT and X-ray experience in a clinical or hospital environment
• Proficiency in all required aspects of CT scanning and X-ray imaging procedures
• Knowledge of radiation safety, proper imaging protocols, and patient positioning
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform and document CT and X-ray scans per physician orders, ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy
• Operate equipment safely, adhering to established protocols and ALARA principles for radiation exposure
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team members to support diagnosis and treatment plans
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining steps and addressing concerns to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and assist with quality control
• Adhere to infection control, privacy, and documentation standards
• Participate in ongoing professional education and training as needed
