CT Tech CT/X-Ray Technologist in Waxhaw, NC

Bring your expertise in CT and X-Ray imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, working closely with dedicated professionals on the night shift. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled technologist ready to support essential patient care through advanced imaging procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Regular shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Holiday requirement: Wednesday night, 11/25, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekend rotation integral to the role, as shifts primarily fall on weekends
• Expectation to work 75% of holidays during your assignment
• On-call/call back dependent on imaging modality and will be discussed during the interview
• No floating to other departments required

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in both CT and X-Ray procedures
• Valid ARRT (R)(CT) certification, or equivalent
• Prior experience operating imaging equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray exams as ordered by attending providers
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Accurately input patient and procedural data into electronic medical records
• Maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed
• Follow established protocols for emergency and on-call procedures

$2,317 - $2,534/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
