Echo Technologist - Albemarle, North Carolina

Embark on a rewarding assignment as a skilled Echocardiography Technologist supporting adult cardiac care in an outpatient heart and vascular clinic. Work closely with a dedicated team, utilizing advanced Phillips equipment for cardiac imaging studies. This contract role offers a stable weekday schedule, a supportive work environment, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference for patients.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekends, on-call, or major holidays

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Echo Tech
• Current registry: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Proficiency with Phillips machines (required)
• Experience in adult echocardiography procedures
• First-time travelers welcome
• Preferred: IV placement, strain imaging, or 3D TTE experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of adult echocardiography procedures, including Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE), bubble studies, and contrast TTE
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure high-quality imaging acquisition
• Accurately document findings in EPIC EMR
• Coordinate with department supervisor, on-site cardiologist, RN, and peer sonographer to deliver outstanding patient care
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards
• Wear designated royal blue scrubs top and black bottom
