Echo Technologist in Apopka, FL

Seeking an experienced imaging professional with a focus on echocardiography to deliver high-quality care in a pediatric setting. As an Echo Tech on this contract assignment, you will be responsible for performing detailed pediatric ultrasounds, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, attention to patient comfort, and a deep understanding of pediatric cardiac imaging.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:30pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ pediatric sonography experience required
• Current registry with ARDMS (RDCS-PE) or CCI (RCCS) is essential
• No state licensure required for this assignment
• Expertise in performing pediatric ultrasounds is mandatory
• Proficiency with Philips Epiq series ultrasound machines
• Experience working with EPIC for EMR and Syngo Dynamics imaging software highly valued
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric echocardiograms, ensuring high diagnostic quality
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to interpret and document findings
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records within EPIC EMR system
• Operate and maintain Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting as necessary
• Follow facility protocols and infection control guidelines
• Provide safe, compassionate care, maintaining a child-friendly environment
