Echo Technologist in Asheboro, NC

Advance your imaging career in an outpatient heart and vascular clinic specializing in adult cardiology. This contract role is ideal for an experienced Echo Tech looking to join a supportive, team-oriented environment with weekday, daytime hours and no on-call, weekend, or major holiday requirements.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
• BLS certification required
• Strong proficiency with Phillips echocardiography equipment (mandatory)
• Expertise in adult echocardiography techniques, including Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Bubble studies (Saline Contrast study), and Contrast TTE
• Preferred, but not required: IV placement skills, Strain and 3D TTE experience
• First-time travelers welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound studies on adult patients only (ages 18+)
• Collaborate with a department consisting of a supervisor, manager, peer sonographer, on-site cardiologist, and RN
• Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
• Prepare and maintain Phillips echo machines
• Maintain patient safety and provide quality care throughout procedures
