Step into a dynamic outpatient heart and vascular clinic environment, focusing exclusively on adult patients (18+). This contract assignment offers a regular weekday schedule with no weekend, on-call, or holiday commitments. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, ensuring work-life balance.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year working as an Echo Tech
• Current registry: ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - RDCS) or CCI (Registered Cardiac Sonographer - RCS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated skill and experience with adult echocardiography, including TTE, Bubble studies, and Contrast TTE
• Proficiency with Phillips ultrasound equipment (required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus
• IV placement skills preferred
• Strain and 3D TTE experience is an asset
• Open to first-time travelers

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive adult echocardiography studies, accurately executing protocols for TTE and related procedures
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound exams, obtaining high-quality diagnostic images
• Document findings and patient information into EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate with onsite cardiologists, department supervisor, peer sonographers, and nursing staff
• Maintain equipment, ensuring Phillips machines are ready for daily schedule (average of 7 patients, with a moderate no-show rate)
• Adhere to a team-driven, supportive department culture
• Wear designated attire: royal blue top and black bottoms
